The Sons have been locked away in a fantastic residential recording studio called Tilehouse Studios (or Little Halings) in the countryside. The studio was originally built for Mike Oldfield (Tubular Bells) and now run by producer/songwriter Luke Oldfield. Check out some footage here of one of our late night jams there, rehearsing songs for the recording sessions. Good times.
The Sons have been working on a soundtrack/score for the development of the "Certificate 18" project with the hugely talented award-winning poet and multimedia artist Beyonder. More info to follow soon.
What an incredible night all round. Let it be said, the very first Not Quite New Year's show was a success. Thanks so much to Vitamin G, Samantha Kate Sheppard and Dj Lucienne Cole for performing with us. Rumour has it we had the most beautiful crowd in London that night.
The Sons of Dark Horses will be playing a full set, with a full band at this London show which also features Vitamin G, Samantha Kate Sheppard and DJ Lucienne Cole.

Well, well, well! The Sons of Dark Horses just have to tell you that we have just played one of the most invigorating gigs ever. Yes good people we are super-charged, having just pulled together a really big performance for us. For many reasons the pressure was on for this one - we had to get it right. It was packed too.
We called a few special friends to collaborate with us during the set, so it was quite a spectacle of a show, both visually and sonically. We were lucky enough to rally Craig and Julia from Vitamin G into the fold, which enabled them to join us during the Horses tunes, whilst we accompanied them on some of the “G” tracks. Fantastic. What a night! Watch a clip from the show HERE
